We took a friend to the brand new Char Bar no.7 off of Morgantown Road in Southern Pines to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is a perfect blend of casual and upscale. With a strong menu that offers a wide array of options and great daily specials, we have a hunch that this establishment is going to be a popular one.
When we went, we had the Tuesday Special of Two Steaks for $36, but you can get a good variety of entrees for less. Two of our favorite dessert choices were the key lime cheesecake and chocolate cake. We told the staff that it was someone’s birthday, and they gave us a complimentary dessert. We’re not sure if this is official policy or if we were just fortunate, but if you’re there for a birthday, it’s worth mentioning it to your server!
It’s important to note that as of right now, Char Bar No.7 is only open for dinner, but their door said that lunch is coming soon. We really liked the food and the atmosphere, and we will definitely be back.
