Midland Bistro in Southern Pines has been in the same family for years and has grown to become a community favorite. Located in the Market Place Building on Midland Road between Carolina Eye & Ironwood Cafe, this intimate restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. On a nice day, you can dine on their patio.
We love Midland Bistro, so this post is about two different times that we went: once for breakfast and once for lunch. No matter when you go, check the board outside or their Facebook page for recommendations and daily specials.
When we went for breakfast, we enjoyed several of their creative waffles. For lunch, we had the grilled cheese and chicken and wild rice soup with a delicious Creamsicle cake for dessert. Everything was very fresh and filling, and you can tell that great care was taken to prepare the meals.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Midland Bistro to anyone looking for a cute place to grab breakfast and lunch.
