Open for lunch and dinner, The Ryder Cup Lounge is located in the Carolina Hotel on the grounds of the Pinehurst Resort. At this popular dining spot, you can grab a delicious meal and rub elbows with the local golfers and pros. The atmosphere is casual, yet refined, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have several large screen televisions around the restaurant, and you can enjoy a signature cocktail on the Veranda.
The Ryder Cup prides itself on its unique menu described as American fare with a twist. When we went, we had the chicken piccata, fish fry, and burgers. Everything tasted very fresh ,and we left feeling full thanks to the hearty portion sizes.
